![]() I have no experience with either of those. The Astro C40 TR seems to offer the best of both worlds allowing you to switch the analog stick with the D-Pad and vice-versa, so you can use it with whichever layout you prefer, however with both of those controllers availability is limited, at least in my experience and they are considerably more expensive, perhaps more so than is justifiable. ![]() There are a couple of alternatives that seem to be well regarded but that I have no experience with, one of them is the Razer Wolverine V2 which has nice build quality and mechanical face buttons, though it is expensive and availability seems limited. It also uses USB-C rather than Micro-USB. It's compatible with many platforms, supports D-Input and X-Input with the, literal, flick of a switch, has decent build quality and you can use either a replaceable battery or double batteries to keep on gaming. Also what platforms you want to use the controller with.įor me, specifically, the best alternative right now is 8bitdo Pro 2. Depends on what your preferences are and what features you want.
